Panel joints feature EPDM rubber weather stripping borrowed from commercial door gaskets. This same material keeps water out of walk-in freezers, so it handles anything a Midwest winter or Gulf Coast hurricane season can deliver. The perimeter rails include foam-backed seals that compress against your bed rail, creating a weathertight boundary even on beds with slight warping or aftermarket spray-in liners.
Installation & bed compatibility
Our clamp rail system replaces the old stake-pocket anchor approach. You position the rails along your bed sides, hand-tighten four clamps per rail, then torque them down with a standard socket wrench. No drilling into your bed means no rust points and full reversibility if you sell the truck or switch covers.
The Tri-Fold Pro fits most full-size truck beds from 5.5 feet to 8 feet. We manufacture specific rail lengths for Ford F-150, Chevy Silverado, GMC Sierra, RAM 1500/2500/3500, Toyota Tundra, and Nissan Titan beds. If you’ve installed a bed liner after purchase, the tension adjusters let you account for that added thickness—simply dial each adjuster clockwise until the cover sits level and taut.

Full-access folding
Unlatch the rear panel, fold it forward onto the center panel, then fold both toward the cab. The entire assembly compresses to roughly 12 inches of vertical space behind your cab window. Aluminum support bows at each hinge point keep panels from flopping during transit—you can drive highway speeds with the cover folded without worrying about wind lift.
Partial bed access
Many users fold just the rear panel forward for quick access to the back third of the bed. This works well for grabbing toolboxes or grocery bags without fully collapsing the cover. The dual-latch system at the tailgate lets you secure the rear panel in this half-open position using the integrated strap loops.

Yes. The clamp rails adjust outward to accommodate the added thickness of most spray-in liners. After you position the rails on top of the bed liner material, use the tension adjusters to dial in the correct tightness. Most installations with liners require about a half-turn extra on each adjuster compared to bare beds.
If you have a drop-in plastic liner, measure the height of the liner’s top rail—anything under one inch works fine. Thicker drop-in liners may require shims, which we include in every Tri-Fold Pro kit.
Measure your truck bed from the inside of the bulkhead (behind the cab) to the inside of the tailgate. Common sizes are 5.5 feet, 6.5 feet, and 8 feet. We manufacture rails specific to each length, and our online fit guide cross-references your truck’s year, make, and model to the correct part number.

Avoid point loads—don’t stand in one spot or place a heavy toolbox directly over a single panel. Spread weight across at least two panels or the full length of the cover for best results.
The cover must be folded or removed to use a bed extender that drops the tailgate. For tailgate ramps, fold the rear panel forward to access the tailgate—the cover’s hinge design allows this without removing any hardware.
If you frequently use a bed extender, consider leaving the Tri-Fold Pro in the half-folded position during those trips. The front and center panels still protect two-thirds of your bed, and you maintain full tailgate access.
